Ignite School Year Programs are weekly programs that run from September to June.
Summer Camps

Fire Gods and Goddesses

Children will learn to safely use a knife as a tool to build fire from wild materials. Children will play games and make wilderness crafts. Each child will go home with their very own bow drill kit at the end of the week.

Forest Day ~ Flagship Program

This is a weekly program designed for children to become immersed in a community with their peers who come together each week to build on the skills and practices of nature connection.

A collective environment which allows children to form community through shared experiences and deepen connection with earth, self and each other.

September through June Weekly on Wednesdays 12:00pm-4:00pm Redmond, WA ages 8-12

Fire Gods and Goddesses 2.0

Fire Gods and Goddesses 2.0 is a more in-depth dive into the art of creating fire.  Children will learn the art of building fire with a single match, knife and wood.  Each child will go home with their very own wild materials fire starter kit and handmade bow drill kit.

This camp is open to all skill levels and no prior fire-building experience necessary.

This is a weekly program designed for children to become immersed in a community of children who come together each week in the outdoors to build on the skills and practices of nature connection.

A collective environment which allows children to build community through shared experiences and deepen connection with earth and each other.

Each day of camp, children will learn a new and active nature based game and activity. Enjoy scavenger hunts, stalking and hiding in the woods, blindfold drum stalks and so much more!

Outdoor Adventures: Spring Session.

Outdoor Adventures is a weekly after school program designed to give children an opportunity to explore, play and learn wilderness skills in an urban setting.

With a strong focus on outdoor skills such as fire building and the art of using a knife as a tool, children will gain confidence in themselves and learn to build community while learning and playing in a “wild urban” setting.

Spring Session: March 30th - June 1st (no class April 13th and May 18th) Weekly on Thursdays, 4:00pm-6:00pm Ballard, WA ages 10-14 $285 (8 classes)

With a strong focus on the art of observation, plant identification, birds, water fowl and bugs, children will engage in a natural setting while learning in a fun environment with nature games and creative play.

The Nature of a Scout

Explore the woods while learning to camouflage yourself into your environment. Blend in with the forest flora while scouting and hiding from the other tribes! Enjoy scavenger hunts, blindfold drum stalks, and sneaking through the forest like a coyote. Learn the nature of a PNW scout while diving deep into nature connection.
