Weekend Programs

Urban Conifers: June 9th, 2024

Sunday, June 9th, 10:00am-2:00pm Seattle, WA Ages 8-14; $80 per Sunday

Urban Conifers offers an introduction to nature connection through wilderness survival skills and naturalist studies.

Students will engage in learning techniques to safely use knives as tools, build fires, create shelters, identify wild plants, sneak through the forest, and more!

Urban Conifers is an opportunity for children to spend time in beautiful natural landscapes in Seattle.

With the Salish Sea and the Olympic mountains as the backdrop, children learn to identify trees, plants, birds, tracks and wildlife while gaining connection with the natural world through playing games in the forest, learning the art and importance of fire building and community building with their peers.

Children gain a stronger awareness of their own capabilities while exploring and becoming comfortable in the beauty and gift of the PNW. Please have your child bring their own backpack with water bottle and lunch.

Scholarship options available. Contact us for more info.
