Nature for the curious and observant!

Discover the wild and beautiful Union Bay Nature Area. We’ll explore wildlife track and sign of beaver, coyote, cottontail, deer, water fowl and so much more! We’ll dive into nature journaling, use binoculars to observe birds in the air and on the water. Learn to identify wild edibles, important tree and plant species while engaging with each other and nature in a wholistic and mindful way.

Briana “Bri” McFarland

Bri is a Pacific Northwest native. She grew up picking huckleberries barefoot, climbing trees and catching frogs in the foothills of the Cascades.
